Artists no longer need to sculpt 3 different sized pieces if the client desires a small, medium and large bronze casting. A single maquette can be sculpted, laser scanned, then reduced or enlarged to just about any size. Smaller pieces can be printed on a 3D printer to be used as a pattern for casting.
